Somewhere along the way, I naturally became the one doing the same thing. I was always the one with the camera at parties or gatherings, documenting the night or the day, whether that was adventures up north, nights I definitely wouldn’t remember without the photos, or just basic moments with the people I care about. It has been the one constant in my life. I learned film photography in high school and instantly fell in love with the nostalgic, slightly imperfect magic of it, and carried that into my present-day work.
For me, photography isn’t *just* about pretty places and pretty light, although I’m very very much obsessed with both! It’s about noticing life as it actually slowly unfolds. The kind of moments that don’t ask for attention but somehow end up meaning the most later on. The moments where people forget they’re being photographed and just exist with each other, and watching the little tiny details create a heart-aching moment. Where everything feels a little unplanned, and yet completely real.
I want to document and preserve what a season of life actually felt like. The small gestures that happen without thinking, the way laughter fills a space, the quiet connection that doesn’t need to be directed. That’s where everything feels the most honest and alive. I’m deeply inspired by nature, the softness of golden light, the movement of wind through trees, the textures and tones that make a place feel like a memory before it even is one. I want to preserve not just how your life looked, but how it felt, creating photographs you'll return to for years and remember exactly what that season was like.
I love photographing people in the middle of their real lives, the seasons that feel big while you're in them and even bigger when you look back on them. Photography is my favorite form of art because it's created from real life. Light, movement, emotion, and connection all coming together for a split second, never to exist in quite the same way again. Rooted in real stories and real people, it's deeply personal, and there is nothing more fulfilling than turning those fleeting moments into art that will only grow more meaningful with time. And even better if you bring your dog too.
Every session means something to me because I know these aren’t just photos for right now, they’re pieces of your story you’ll return to for years. My goal is always to create an experience that feels easy and natural so you can just be yourself while I take care of the rest, because what I’m always really looking for are authentic moments. That’s what photography means to me as a whole. It’s about authentic emotion and real connection, the kind of moments that can’t be staged or recreated, only felt as they happen.
My husband Josh. My best friend is a steady place in the world. He’s my biggest fan, my confidant, and the reason I laugh way too loudly!

No matter if you’re documenting you spending some time with your other half, your journey into motherhood, chasing after your little ones, or desperate to make time stand still for your seniors, this is always true: you deserve to be in your moment with them. As parents, it’s often that we’re the ones making moments magical for everyone else, we’re behind the phone snapping the shots, organizing the events so everyone has the moment to hold onto. This is what I want to do for you: be in it with them, so you can spend an hour doing nothing except being with the people you love and preserving the feeling of now, before it quietly slips into memory.
